Welcome Prospective Members!
Alpha Kappa Psi, Alpha Mu chapter is the premier business fraternity at the Wisconsin School of Business and home to more than 150 bright, driven, and compassionate individuals. Each member’s passions in their respective fields and interests brings a unique energy to our community. Our members stem from a multitude of backgrounds, experiences, and academic disciplines including business, computer science, retail, education, engineering, biochemistry, and many more.
The journey to success for our members starts with the pledge semester. As a membership team, consisting of myself and three incredibly impressive pledge trainers (Andrew Meuler, Sonali Carumbaya, and Chris Khan), our mission is to help the new members achieve whatever goals they have set for themselves whether that’s professionally, academically, or personally.
We have worked to develop a curriculum that will best prepare the pledge class to fulfill their ambitions. We will cover resumes, cover letters, interviews, networking, and any other specific technical or industry-related skills throughout the semester.
Outside of professional development, we want to ensure full integration of every new member into our chapter. Badger AKPsi hosts hundreds of events throughout the semester, including brotherhood, professional, community service, DEI, and fundraising. These events, and many others, cultivate a tight-knit community that fosters life-long friendships, truly embodying what it means to be a part of a brotherhood.
Badger AKPsi is filled with some of the most talented students at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and all 150+ members are dedicated to each other’s success. This exceptional group of people has been the highlight of my college career, and I am forever grateful for this community.
